Advances in Applied Agricultural Sciences publishes original theoretical, experimental and technical contributions in the various fields of Agricultural science (Physiology, Genetics, Agricultural engineering, etc.) at diverse levels of integration. Opinions expressed in the journal are the sole responsibility of the authors and publication does not imply the editors’ agreement.
Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis or as an electronic pre-print), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, including electronically without the written consent of the copyright-holder.
This journal is an Open Access journal. All articles published Open Access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. Publishing an article is free of charge, No page charges, no processing charges, totally free of cost.
Types of paper
Advances in Applied Agricultural Sciences publishes several types of articles: Reviews, Papers and Short Papers. Articles for Reviews are either invited by the editor or proposed by the authors for the editor’s prior agreement. Reviews should not exceed 40 typewritten pages and Short Papers no more than approximately 8 typewritten pages. The fundamental character of Advances in Applied Agricultural Sciences remains that of a journal for original results.
Conflict of interest
Advances in Applied Agricultural Sciences requires all authors to disclose any financial conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. Authors must declare any such conflict in the cover letter accompanying the manuscript and in the Acknowledgments section of the manuscript itself.
Please write your text in good English (American or British usage is accepted, but not a mixture of these).
Submission to this journal proceeds totally online and you will be guided step-wise through the creation and uploading of your files.
Please use the template of the journal to write your manuscript
The title page should include:
- The name(s) of the author(s)
- A concise and informative title
- The affiliation(s) and address(es) of the author(s)
- The e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers of the corresponding author
Please provide an abstract of 150 to 250 words. The abstract should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references.
Please provide 4 to 6 keywords which can be used for indexing purposes.
Manuscripts should be submitted in Word.
- Use a normal, plain font (e.g., 10-point Times Roman) for text.
- Use italics for emphasis.
- Use the automatic page numbering function to number the pages.
- Do not use field functions.
- Use tab stops or other commands for indents, not the space bar.
- Use the table function, not spreadsheets, to make tables.
- Use the equation editor or Math Type for equations.
- Save your file in docx format (Word 2007 or higher) or doc format (older Word versions).
Acknowledgments of people, grants, funds, etc. should be placed in a separate section before the reference list. The names of funding organizations should be written in full.
